At Sylacauga City Schools, our mission is to encourage, equip, and empower all students to own their future by providing diverse pathways to an excellent education. Guided by our vision of Equipping Everyone for Excellence and our belief that all students can learn, grow, and achieve, we are committed to preparing graduates for success in any college or career path. We believe students must develop essential skills for life within and beyond their K-12 experience. Our Portrait of a Graduate will be used as our map to define and measure both student progress toward mastering these skills as well as our district’s ability to develop graduates who are prepared for the real world.
