Dr. Michele Eller

Dr. Michele Eller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and middle school language arts and a Masters of Science in reading education and instructional leadership from Auburn University Montgomery as well as an Educational Specialist and Philosophy of Education in elementary and secondary administration from Auburn University.

Dr. Eller has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, administrator, curriculum director, career technical education director, and assistant superintendent prior to being appointed Superintendent in 2021.

She holds memberships with the Alabama Association of Career Technical Education (ALACTE) where she serves on the Executive Advisory Board, Alabama Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (AASCD) where she serves as a regional representative, the Alabama Counseling Association (ALCA) where she serves as the President of the Alabama Career Development Association, and the Council for Leaders in Alabama (CLAS) where she received her Certified Instructional Leader (CIL) distinction.

Dr. Eller's three-fold plan as Superintendent of Sylacauga City Schools is to honor the past, challenge the present, and envision the future.
