A Small District With A Big Vision:

Guided by a dedicated Board of Education, Sylacauga City Schools is committed to encouraging, equipping, and empowering every student to own their future through diverse pathways to academic excellence.

Our four schools serve more than 2,000 students in grades Pre-K through 12, supported by over 270 dedicated employees who foster safe, engaging environments where learning thrives. Students explore art, music, computer science, and communications from early grades and advance to career-focused programs such as health science, business, engineering, and manufacturing—many earning industry credentials through partnerships with Central Alabama Community College.

Through dual-enrollment with Auburn University, Jacksonville State University, the University of Alabama, and CACC, students can earn college credit while completing their diploma. Technology is integrated across all campuses, and students are encouraged to grow through fine arts, athletics, and co-curricular activities.

Strong community partnerships and support from the Sylacauga City Schools Foundation fuel innovation, enhance classrooms, and expand opportunities for every learner.

Together, these efforts advance our mission:
To encourage, equip, and empower all students to own their future by providing diverse pathways to an excellent education.
